About The Position

Manitowoc Pattern & Machining (MP&M) is seeking an experienced machinist for their 2nd shift. This role involves setting up and operating CNC machining centers to produce high-quality precision components. The ideal candidate enjoys problem-solving, setup, troubleshooting, and takes pride in their work. MP&M offers modern CNC equipment, a climate-controlled facility, and opportunities to work with experienced engineers and machinists.

Requirements

• Experience as a machinist
• Experience with setup
• Problem-solving skills

• Ability to produce high-quality precision components
• Ability to read blueprints and process sheets

Responsibilities

• Set up and optimize CNC machining centers
• Create and modify toolpaths
• Optimize tooling, feeds, and speeds
• Read blueprints and process sheets
• Collaborate with engineers on tooling and design improvements
• Build quality into every part
• Improve machining processes and efficiencies
