About The Position

Join our team producing mission-critical, high-precision SmCo magnet components for advanced industries, including Aerospace & Defense, Medical, and Semiconductor. As a Machinist working with specialty metals, you’ll work independently to set up and operate a variety of CNC and manual machining equipment, troubleshoot process issues, and ensure every part meets strict quality standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1+ year machining/manufacturing experience
• Blueprint reading and precision measurement proficiency
• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate precision machining equipment (grinding, slicing, drilling, milling, CNC)
• Maintain tight tolerances
• Perform tool changes, adjustments, and basic program edits
• Troubleshoot mechanical, quality, and process issues; support root cause analysis
• Inspect parts using precision instruments
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams
• Support continuous improvement and equipment maintenance
• Follow all safety, quality, and production standards
