About The Position

Join our team producing mission-critical, high-precision SmCo magnet components for advanced industries, including Aerospace & Defense, Medical, and Semiconductor. As a Machinist working with specialty metals, you’ll work independently to set up and operate a variety of CNC and manual machining equipment, troubleshoot process issues, and ensure every part meets strict quality standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1+ year machining/manufacturing experience
Blueprint reading and precision measurement proficiency
Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

CNC experience preferred
G/M code knowledge a plus

Responsibilities

Set up and operate precision machining equipment (grinding, slicing, drilling, milling, CNC)
Maintain tight tolerances
Perform tool changes, adjustments, and basic program edits
Troubleshoot mechanical, quality, and process issues; support root cause analysis
Inspect parts using precision instruments
Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams
Support continuous improvement and equipment maintenance
Follow all safety, quality, and production standards
