About The Position
We are looking for a skilled Manual Engine Lathe Machinist to join our hydraulics manufacturing team.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience operating manual engine lathes
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual engine lathes to fabricate hydraulic components, including shafts, pistons, and cylinder parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining processes.
- Measure and inspect machined parts using micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators to ensure accuracy and adherence to hydraulic system tolerances.
- Perform machining operations such as turning, threading, boring, facing, and tapering on hydraulic components.
