Ichor Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and setting up machine tools to manufacture precision components while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. Temporary Assignment: Temp-to-Hire opportunity with potential for permanent employment based on performance, attendance, and business needs. Day Shift - Monday through Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of machinist experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• CNC machining and setup experience.
• Experience with tube fabrication, aerospace, medical device, or high-mix manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.
• Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools, including lathes, mills, drills, grinders, and other machining equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Perform equipment adjustments and tool changes to maintain quality and productivity standards.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary offsets or process adjustments.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to meet customer requirements and production schedules.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence.
