About The Position

Start Your Machining Career with Ebara Elliott Energy! This is a hands-on 18-month training program designed to develop future machinists through real shop experience and technical education. Trainees rotate through three machining areas while completing a 3-part online training program through Penn Foster .

Requirements

• Training program is developed to meet company certification requirements for production roles
• Must complete both hands-on shop training and online testing
• Formal training includes correspondence-style coursework with graded exams
• Trainees who successfully complete the program will be considered certified to company production standards
• This is an 18-month structured training program
• Must be available to work all shifts and overtime, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Work from drawings, work orders, and supervisor instruction
• Set up and operate machining equipment
• Measure, deburr, polish, and finish parts
• Assist with CNC program edits and machine adjustments
• Maintain safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
