This is a full-time, regular position, but employment is anticipated to be short-term due to relocation of product lines, with employment expected through July 31, 2027. The position will be eligible for negotiated severance benefits following termination. The Machinist 2 reports to the manufacturing supervisor and is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining several machine types in an industrial setting, involving troubleshooting, moderate decision-making, and problem-solving. The role works under limited supervision, provides some guidance to others, and has limited contact with external suppliers or customers.
