About The Position

The Packer maintains material flow on the production floor by stocking machines with boxes, tape, and bags during the shift and before shift change. The role also supports production by relieving coworkers for breaks and lunches, managing product flow at the skid wrapper, conducting and documenting random quality inspections, and assisting with packing and sorting activities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Stock production machines with boxes, tape, and bags during the shift and prior to shift change.
• Relieve coworkers for breaks and lunches.
• Maintain product flow at the skid wrapper by placing skids on it, removing skids, and pulling them to finished goods staging in the warehouse.
• Conduct random quality inspections on each line twice per shift and document them on the IBM report.
• Assist with packing as needed.
• Assist with on-line sorting and rework on product with machine or product concerns.
• Assist with sorting product that is on hold.
