About The Position

To set up and operate the various machinery within the Shaft Seal Department to produce aerospace and industrial products. This role is safety sensitive and requires adherence to all safety and quality policies, as well as company rules and policies. The position involves regular communication with supervision and maintaining a clean and orderly work area and equipment. Duties include working from prints, sketches, process sheets, travelers, and verbal instructions, performing equipment set ups on a minimum of five machines within the department, and making adjustments on equipment being operated. Additional tasks include transporting materials, performing dipping, coating, and wrapping of products as needed, using precision measuring equipment to verify product specifications, performing operator-capable lubrication service to machines and equipment, and maintaining records and paperwork legibly. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

HSD or GED.
Must meet requirements for Export Control / ITAR Compliance.
Minimum one year experience as Special Skilled General Operator Shaft Seal.
Familiarity and basic understanding of blueprints.
Ability to train on shift other than home shift.
