About The Position

The Machining Manager creates, maintains, and updates schedules for upcoming machining projects. The role requires attention to detail and working knowledge of compressor-related machining practices. The manager works closely with compressor services managers to develop and update compressor machining processes and tolerances. The position reports directly to the Compressor Services Director and may assist with compressor services teardown and assembly as needed.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of machining experience, focused on compressor-specific machining.
• Proficiency in project scheduling and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.
• Knowledge of machining services, processes, tolerances, equipment, and machining best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication skills, including excellent written and verbal communication.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate project progress, adjust schedules, and mitigate potential delays and issues.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Collaborative mindset to work effectively with compressor managers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
• Collaborate with compressor managers to establish best practices.
• Monitor and update project progression.
• Perform machining duties for all compressor services projects.
• Assist with compressor services teardown and assembly as needed.
• Ensure machining tolerances are maintained.
• Maintain oversight of and adjust machining equipment and tooling.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
