About The Position

This is a 2nd shift position scheduled Monday - Friday 3:30pm - 12:00am. The Machinery Shop Technician will perform high-quality repair and maintenance on Caterpillar equipment. This role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and is expected to complete tasks with no/limited supervision. Responsibilities include removing, installing, disassembling, and assembling components, adhering to safety standards, and verifying findings against manufactured specifications. At the end of the shift, the technician will secure all equipment and machinery and complete all required paperwork. A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures is essential. Paint prep and painting capabilities are also required.

Requirements

• Experience with Cat/Non-Cat construction equipment.
• Ability to multitask.
• Assist parts department in researching and ordering needed parts.
• Strong Computer skills preferred, knowledge of SisWeb and ET is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-developed technical and troubleshooting skills with strong analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
