About The Position

This role involves supervising a machinery repair shop, requiring a strong mechanical background to troubleshoot and operate various machines. The supervisor will be responsible for ordering parts and may have occasional customer contact for technical questions. Key attributes include organization, punctuality, and reliability. Intermediate PC skills and strong phone etiquette are necessary. Bilingualism in Spanish is a plus. The position involves frequent physical activity including operating a vehicle, sitting, standing, walking, bending, squatting, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting objects, and repetitive movements of the extremities and torso. Periodic tasks include operating power equipment and using computers and phones. Occasional lifting or moving of up to 50lbs is required.

Requirements

Machinery service and repair experience with a variety of machines including: Lathes, Grinders, Mills, Presses, CNC, Punch presses, press brakes, shears and many other various machines and equipment.
Strong MECHANICAL background is essential.
Organized, Punctual, Reliable.
Intermediate Windows/PC Skills.
Strong Phone Etiquette (ordering parts, etc. and occasional customer contact to answer technical questions).
