2nd and 3rd Shift Machine Operators
About The Position
P.J. Wallbank Springs, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. This is a high-volume assembly operation focused on manufacturing spring packs in a machine-paced environment. While you will work at an individual workstation rather than an assembly line, the role requires initiative, motivation, and the ability to adapt to different machines and production needs due to a seniority-based job selection model. The position requires standing for the entire shift. The company emphasizes customer demand for working schedules and offers an overtime incentive after 40 hours of work per week. Current openings are for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Responsibilities
- Make continued efficiencies improvement during your first 90 days so that you are operating the machines towards a target of 90%.
- Notify the Leaders when a defect is identified 100% of the time.
- Complete and ensure accuracy of daily reports at the end of each shift.
- Perform "Load check" of 4 parts every 3,000 springs to validate normal specs are maintained throughout production.
- Confirm the correct label and ensure compliance with labeling instructions for each full box.
- Maintain proper 5S and cleanliness around the workstation.
