NIC Global is seeking a 2nd Shift Machine Operator to join our team. We are a single-source manufacturer specializing in turn-key mechanical and electromechanical assembly, expert sheet metal fabrication, and global sourcing of metal and plastic components. We serve prominent customers like Philips, PACCAR, Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Physio Controls, and Leviton. Requirements

High school level education or equivalent specialized training which may be obtained in vocational courses or on the job.
Must be able to follow work practices and safety guidelines and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating Stamping Press, Brake Press, or Turret machines.

Responsibilities

Set ups, adjusts and operates stamping press machines to produce parts in accordance with specifications.
Sets, aligns and secures dies, sets ram stroke, etc. to perform such operations as punching, shearing, blanking, and forming.
Responsible for setting up progressive stamping tools including the feeder.
Works with minimal supervision.
Responsible for general maintenance of equipment.
