About The Position

Precision Edge Surgical Products Company LLC, a part of the global industrial organization Marmon Holdings (backed by Berkshire Hathaway), is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Entry Level Machine Operators on 2nd and 3rd shift. This is a full-time production position based in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to read measurements, decimals, and fractions
• Basic computer skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be available to work all shifts as needed
• Ability to stand for extended periods (8–10 hours or more)
• Frequent bending, twisting, and movement throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Vision correctable to 20/20
• Ability to distinguish colors

Nice To Haves

• Previous machining experience is preferred
• Manufacturing or machining experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently
• Perform in-process inspections and complete required documentation
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Use standard measuring and inspection equipment accurately
• Maintain machines, tooling, and a clean work area
• Monitor product quality and meet production standards
• Communicate process concerns or safety issues to supervisors immediately
• Handle materials and parts carefully to prevent damage
• Assist with training team members as needed
• Stop production when a safety or quality concern is identified
