2nd and 3rd Shift Machine Operators
About The Position
P.J. Wallbank Springs, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. This is a high-volume assembly operation focused on manufacturing spring packs in a machine-paced environment. Operators work at individual workstations, requiring initiative and motivation. The role involves standing for the entire shift and adaptability due to a seniority-based job selection model, which may lead to working on different machines based on production needs. Customer demand dictates working schedules, with overtime incentives available after 40 hours per week. Openings are for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Responsibilities
- Make continued efficiencies improvement during your first 90 days so that you are operating the machines towards a target of 90%.
- Notify the Leaders when a defect is identified 100% of the time.
- Complete and ensure accuracy of daily reports at the end of each shift.
- Perform "Load check" 4 parts every 3,000 springs to validate normal specs are maintained throughout production.
- Confirm the correct label and ensure compliance with labeling instructions for each full box.
- Maintain proper 5S and cleanliness around the workstation.
