About The Position

Alleguard is seeking a Machine Operator (Assistant Cutter) to work under the Production Supervisor. The role provides hands-on experience and practical knowledge of EPS manufacturing processes. The position operates hot-wire cutting lines while maintaining efficient, consistent workflows and following company policies and safety procedures. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to midnight; flexibility is required because hours may change based on production needs. Pay is $16 USD per hour.

Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to perform duties in a high-temperature environment of 150–170 degrees Fahrenheit for short periods, typically less than five minutes.
Position may involve intense physical exertion in low- to high-temperature and humid conditions.

Responsibilities

Operate hot-wire cutting lines with an efficient, consistent workflow to maximize efficiency while following company policies and safety procedures.
Stretch-wrap bundles and palletize as needed.
Track block numbers.
Use a tape measure or ruler.
Adapt to changes, including moving from one production line to another.
Drive the line.
