About The Position

The Machine Operator operates manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely to produce and package products for external customers. The role supports production flow by moving materials and finished products, meeting production standards, maintaining safe and clean work areas, and following quality and packaging procedures. The operator also assists with changeovers and performs other duties as assigned by a Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions.
Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

Operate manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely.
Produce products and follow proper procedures for packaging them for external customers.
Remove or shift materials and finished products to facilitate proper production flow.
Meet production standards for assigned work within required timeframes.
Maintain safety and quality throughout production.
Clean equipment and the assigned area before, during, and after the shift.
Maintain a clean work area through good housekeeping practices.
Follow sorting and restacking instructions from the Quality Department.
Assist with changeovers when requested by a supervisor or front-end operators.
Perform other duties as required by a Supervisor or Manager.
