About The Position

Eaton’s ES GEIS CHD division is hiring a Machine Operator for its Crouse-Hinds Business facility in Meadow Lands, Pennsylvania. The facility manufactures and assembles products for commercial electrical distribution. This is an entry-level position with on-the-job training, focused on inspecting and assembling commercial electrical products. The core hours are 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The hourly rate is $19.74 plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential, with the base rate increasing to $20.78 per hour after six months. Employees work with others in the department and are expected to communicate and work effectively in a team environment. Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius of Meadowlands, Pennsylvania, unless they are active-duty military service members. Relocation benefits are not available. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Willingness to work overtime, including weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Operate production equipment, including welders, presses, benders, and switchboxes, according to work instructions.
Operate machines, monitor equipment operations, and record operational production data.
Inspect finished products for quality according to standard work instructions.
Complete production reports to communicate production output to management.
Maintain housekeeping in the work area.
Perform overhead work on one or more lines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Work and communicate effectively with others in the department.
