About The Position

The Machine Operator operates production equipment used to make concrete and wire-reinforcement products. The role includes operating a control station and header cart, supplying the machine with components, checking product materials and wire cages or reinforcements, and keeping equipment clean and in good working order. The operator is expected to meet production schedules, produce quality products, and perform basic troubleshooting on production and concrete-batching machinery. CMC offers training and support, along with opportunities to learn and advance.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of industry experience.
• English language proficiency.
• Computer knowledge and skills.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

• Spanish language skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate the control station and header cart.
• Keep the machine clean and in good working order.
• Ensure the quality of production materials, including concrete and wire reinforcement.
• Inspect wire cages and reinforcements.
• Supply the machine with the components needed to make the product.
• Meet production schedule numbers.
• Produce quality products.
• Perform basic troubleshooting on production and concrete-batching machinery.
