About The Position
The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and setting up assigned machines, understanding and following quality and safety requirements, performing required inspection checks, and running to standard after a training period. This role also involves performing set-ups, operating at the expected rate, and adhering to all job instructions. The position requires the ability to read, write, perform basic math, read blueprints, and use applicable measuring devices. Any other duties as assigned will also be part of the responsibilities.
Requirements
- 18+ years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent education
- Ability to read & write in English
Responsibilities
- Operate and set-up machines that are assigned.
- Understand and follow quality requirements/procedures for the area.
- Understand and follow safety requirements/procedures for the area.
- Perform all required inspection checks on the rings.
- Run to standard after training period.
- Perform set-ups.
- Operate at expected rate.
- Read, write and perform basic math, read blueprints, and read applicable measuring devices.
- Adherence to all Job Instructions.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
