About The Position
Benedictine Living Community – La Crosse is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA-NAR) to provide high-quality, compassionate care to residents. CNAs work on the front lines of resident care, treating residents with dignity and respect and supporting their ability to make choices in their lives. The position is open to experienced and newly certified CNAs, with multiple openings and shifts available. The organization is a nonprofit senior-care provider founded by the Sisters of St. Scholastica. Its culture is guided by Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect, and Justice, with a focus on providing a comforting and empowering environment for residents and team members.
Requirements
- Must be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents.
- Report changes in residents’ conditions to an RN or LPN.
- Chart in the POC system.
- Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Treat residents with dignity and respect and support their choices.
