About The Position

Benedictine’s Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA-NAR) provide high-quality, compassionate care to residents. CNAs work on the front lines to ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect and have choices in their lives. The role includes direct resident care, reporting condition changes to an RN or LPN, and charting in the POC system. The position is available on day and evening shifts with regular schedules and an every-other-weekend rotation. Experienced and newly certified CNAs are welcome.

Requirements

• Be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity.
• Have good communication skills.
• Be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Hold BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care.
• Report residents’ condition changes to an RN or LPN.
• Chart in the POC system.
• Demonstrate time management and prioritize tasks.
