About The Position

Nebraska Furniture Mart is hiring a Machine Operator to safely handle and transport products within its warehouse. The role uses scan equipment and material-handling machines to locate, pick, bin, cycle, and return products to appropriate areas. The work location is Cedar Park, Texas; the interview location is Round Rock, Texas. The listed pay range is $18.58–$23.13 per hour. The position is described as full-time.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
One year of warehouse experience.
Positive, upbeat attitude.
Ability to work in high places.
Ability to lift, push, and pull required weights.
Ability to work night, weekend, and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
Completion of pre-employment screening, including a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Machine operations experience preferred.
Experience operating a picker, tow-tractor, pole lift, squeeze, or pallet jack.

Responsibilities

Operate scan equipment to locate, pick, bin, and cycle product.
Handle product safely and observe material-handling safety practices.
Locate and return received goods and transferred product to appropriate areas.
Prepare driver load exception reports and ensure products have been picked and binned for accountable processes.
Track daily progress and promptly report discrepancies, errors, or potential roadblocks to a supervisor.
