About The Position

The Machine Operator operates equipment in one or more value streams at the Good Hope operations and produces valuable, defect-free products that meet or exceed customer expectations. Success in the role requires following standard work and adhering to company policies.

Responsibilities

Follow Schedule Boards or Hour by Hour boards.
Print and produce products to match order specifications.
Hand-finish products as required, including laminating, stack cutting, and sheeting.
Perform final pre-run inspections, quality checks during production, and job completion checks to meet quality and quantity standards.
Perform required preventive maintenance on applicable equipment.
Handle and dispose of hazardous materials and chemicals, including inks and cleaning solvents, according to procedures.
Use standard work, written instructions, and established procedures to complete assigned tasks.
Address and resolve routine inquiries and problems, referring more complex issues to supervisors.
Communicate with different shifts about current jobs, issues, and updates.
Perform other duties as assigned.
