About The Position

The Machine Operator is mainly responsible for operating machines and equipment used in manufacturing products. The role works with other employees to meet or exceed expectations for product quality and production rates. This is a third-shift position with hours from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, including a 20-minute paid lunch. The facility is climate controlled and described as clean and comfortable.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of visual and dimensional inspection equipment and techniques.
• Basic shop math skills.
• Working knowledge of reading basic blueprints and/or operation sheets.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with small precision parts.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and equipment used in manufacturing products.
• Follow required work and maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Load component materials into product-specific tools.
• Visually and dimensionally inspect parts to verify they meet requirements.
• Perform basic setup and operate manual machines when required.
• Maintain machine maintenance records and logs.
• Follow established manufacturing documentation, including SOPs/work instructions, travelers, routers, prints, and deviations.
• Clean and maintain machinery as necessary.
• Perform other functions as required.
