About The Position

Koozie Group is hiring a Machine Operator in Red Wing, Minnesota, for all shifts. The role involves setting up and monitoring printing equipment, checking product quality, maintaining supplies and equipment, and keeping the work area safe and orderly. The company provides training for all positions. The environment is climate controlled.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Read, write, and speak English clearly.
Have computer knowledge.
Be able to read and understand work instructions, perform basic math functions, and make adjustments to machines and tools.
Be comfortable with frequent use of hand tools and foot pedals.
Be comfortable standing for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in manufacturing, machine operation, production, maintenance, technician work, shipping, packaging, general labor, construction, landscaping, or cleaning.

Responsibilities

Measure, center, align, and position screens for proper operation.
Examine products for ink smears, design position, print clarity, color accuracy, and other defects, and adjust equipment as needed.
Ensure the proper supplies are being used for printing.
Monitor automatic feeding systems to maximize output.
Perform preventive maintenance duties, including daily cleaning and lubrication.
Maintain effective working relationships with other associates.
Maintain a clean and neat work area.
Perform duties safely and in accordance with company safety policies.
