About The Position

The Machine Operator monitors the flow of incoming materials, including bottles or cans, and outgoing finished goods, correcting disruptions in the flow and working with maintenance as necessary. The role involves operating and monitoring a production line and communicating with the laboratory or supervisor about product changes and cut-offs. Other job-related duties may be assigned. The actual duties and working conditions may vary.

Requirements

• Equivalent of a high school diploma or GED and 0–2 years of Production Operator experience, or 3 or more years of Production Operator experience.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Related training or certification.
• Experience working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the production line.
• Remove or shift materials and/or finished product as necessary.
• Expedite repairs to the line, working with maintenance as necessary.
• Communicate with the laboratory and/or supervisor regarding product changes and cut-offs.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
