About The Position

The Maintenance Planner oversees the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for manufacturing or packaging production lines. The position plans and executes mechanical and electrical best-practice goals, develops training to support plant operations, and works within established budget limits. It is responsible for maintaining equipment and systems, improving preventive maintenance, and coordinating maintenance needs with Maintenance and Operations teams.

Requirements

5 to 10 years of related experience in a high-output manufacturing or packaging facility.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Expertise with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Must be able to work off shift and weekends.

Responsibilities

Supervise all aspects of the CMMS in a manufacturing environment.
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the preventive maintenance program.
Oversee mechanical and electrical maintenance and upkeep of equipment and systems.
Plan and execute mechanical and electrical best-practice goals within the CMMS environment.
Develop and execute plant equipment revitalization projects.
Develop and deliver training for manufacturing plant mechanics and electricians in the CMMS environment.
Supervise and control maintenance parts pricing with vendors, inventory, and expense budgets.
Partner with Maintenance and Operations to develop maintenance schedules and ensure the availability of necessary parts.
Execute continuous improvement events to reduce losses and increase line efficiencies.
Participate in required meetings.
Conduct work order quality audits to improve team mechanical efficiencies and recommend disciplinary action as necessary.
Conduct safety training and enforce safety procedures for production personnel.
Maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
