About The Position
The Machine Operator will be responsible for threading texturing machines and ensuring the yarn and fiber runs properly through the machine by performing quality checks and repairing ends that have been broken. In addition, the machine operator is required to participate and support safety processes and initiatives.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read
- Ability to stand, walk, reach and bend frequently
- Hand and finger dexterity
- Ability to lift up to 13 lbs. (occasionally)
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Must be able to work independently
- Understanding of production procedures within a manufacturing setting
- Must have strong attention to detail and safety standards
Nice To Haves
- 2 years previous textile machine operating experience
- High school or equivalent
