About The Position

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product through the production process and ensuring proper ingredient supplies are being used on the line.

Requirements

• Basic Math, Reading, Writing Skills
• Basic Mechanical skills needed
• Must possess a certain amount of natural dexterity with hands
• Must be able to follow directions
• Must be able to handle heavy loads
• 2+ year previous machine operating experience and/or mechanical/technical experience

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance.
• Operating production machinery in the Poultry department.
• Monitoring repack machines, making adjustments as needed, reporting any issues to the supervisor or lead and to fill out various log sheets.
• Following all MPF’s safety rules and completing necessary training.
• Maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Martin Preferred Foods (MPF) policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
