About The Position

Swire Coca-Cola is hiring a Machine Operator to perform general duties involving the physical handling of product, materials, supplies, and equipment. The role operates on a second-shift schedule of 5:00 PM–5:00 AM, following a rotating 2-2-3 schedule (two days on, two days off, three days on; seven working days in each 14-day period). Overtime is required based on business need. The operator runs and monitors production equipment, prepares machinery and materials for production, checks product quality, reports malfunctions and safety or product concerns, and keeps equipment and the assigned area clean. The role also includes attending meetings and assisting with special projects and events.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent degree or certificate.
Obtain forklift certification within 30 days of hire.
Ability to learn and fully operate assigned production equipment.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision.
Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed throughout the production shift.
Set up machinery and ensure all production materials are available and ready for use.
Visually inspect production runs and document results to confirm product quality throughout production.
Determine and report malfunctions, safety hazards, and product defects to a supervisor or manager.
Maintain the cleanliness of equipment and the assigned area to support safety and performance standards.
Attend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events.
