About The Position

This position uses simple hand tools in an assembly capacity. The operator performs assembly work in a warehouse setting and must follow work instructions, understand basic assembly principles, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. No experience is necessary; training is provided to the right candidate.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• No experience necessary; the employer will train the right candidate.
• Ability to read work instructions and understand basic assembly principles.
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and self-discipline.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand continually, walk occasionally, and frequently use wrist, hand, and finger dexterity.
• Ability to lift or move more than 25 pounds occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, and up to 5 pounds continually.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools such as a hammer, torque wrench, drill, and pliers.
• Perform single-hand hammer operation during some assembly steps.
• Read and follow work instructions.
• Apply basic assembly principles and work safely with equipment and materials.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality, follow instructions, respond to management direction, and complete tasks on time.
• Commit to overtime when necessary to reach goals.
• Report potentially unsafe conditions and observe safety and security procedures.
• Contribute to teamwork by communicating, welcoming feedback, and supporting team goals.
