Machine Operator 2nd Shift
About The Position
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating manual and automated equipment in the production process. The role involves preparing machinery and materials, operating and monitoring equipment, checking production output, reporting equipment issues, and maintaining a clean work area. The position is located in El Paso, Texas, and is scheduled Monday through Saturday from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Starting pay ranges from $17.82 to $22.07 per hour, based on experience. Additional earning opportunities may include performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, and referral bonuses. Comprehensive benefits are also mentioned.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of general work experience.
- Previous experience within a high-speed industrial environment.
- Ability to operate manufacturing equipment.
- Basic math skills and reading comprehension.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior production or manufacturing machine operation experience preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial technology is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Set up machinery and ensure all production materials are available.
- Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed.
- Visually inspect production runs and document results.
- Determine and report malfunctions to appropriate parties.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and the assigned area.
