About The Position

Swire Coca-Cola is hiring a Machine Operator responsible for general duties involving the physical handling of product, materials, supplies, and equipment. The role operates and monitors production equipment, prepares machinery and materials for production, checks product quality, reports malfunctions and safety hazards, and maintains a clean and safe work area. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM. Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs. Weekend and holiday work may also be directed by the business. The role requires physical handling and lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds and the ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent degree or certificate.
Obtain forklift certification within 30 days of hire.
Ability to learn and fully operate assigned production equipment.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision.
Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor equipment, replenishing materials as needed during the production shift.
Set up machinery and ensure production materials are available and ready for use.
Visually inspect production runs, document results, and confirm product quality throughout production.
Identify and report malfunctions, safety hazards, and product defects to a supervisor or manager.
Maintain the cleanliness of equipment and the assigned area to meet safety and performance standards.
Attend assigned meetings and assist with special projects and events.
