Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • History of safe work practices.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics environment is required.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry 50 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to call out defects and implement to Quality standards.
  • Achieve a qualified score on the job skills assessment, to be coordinated after receiving a passing interview score

Responsibilities

  • Ability to follow complete production schedules with minimal scrap/spoilage
  • Visually inspects equipment at station for cleanliness or obvious maintenance problems. Cleans machine components as needed.
  • Monitors equipment controls, temperature meters, valves and adjusts as needed.
  • Records data pertaining to work completed, ingredients used, lot codes and other processing information.
  • Operates equipment in a safe manner following GMP guidelines and keeps work area clean.
  • Staging ingredients, moving packaging and product for production runs
  • Maintaining housekeeping in the department
  • Operating filling equipment; making minor changes
  • Machine Rinsing and Cleaning, Assisting in machine set ups, ensuring accurate hourly machine counts so that visual boards can be filled out accurately.
  • Labeling sides and ends of boxes. Placing stickers or other identifying information as requested by customer.
