About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring Production Associates for a food manufacturing and distribution center in Coppell, Texas. The role is on the second shift, Monday through Friday, from 1:45 PM to 10:30 PM, paying $18.50 per hour with weekly pay. Associates must be available for occasional Saturday overtime. Recent food manufacturing experience, specifically packing and seasoning products, is required; restaurant experience alone does not qualify.

The position involves operating production machinery and line equipment, handling raw materials, assembling and packaging products, monitoring production quality and efficiency, and performing basic quality checks. Associates also store materials and finished goods appropriately, follow production and safety procedures, and keep the work area clean and organized. The role requires standing, bending, lifting, and walking for more than eight hours per day, along with repetitive production tasks.

Requirements

• Recent food manufacturing experience is required.
• Recent food manufacturing experience in packing and seasoning products is required; restaurant experience alone does not qualify.
• Ability to read and understand production documents and safety manuals.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must pass a background check; no misdemeanors or felonies.
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift, and walk for more than eight hours per day.
• Good physical dexterity and ability to perform repetitive production tasks.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
• Must be available for occasional Saturday overtime.

Responsibilities
