About The Position

U.S. Tsubaki is a leading manufacturer and supplier of power transmission and motion control products. The Machine Operator works safely and keeps the work area organized, clean, and free of hazards. The role involves operating machining equipment, maintaining quality standards, carrying out required equipment maintenance and cleaning processes, and recording work output. Other related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• 1 to 3 years of manufacturing-related experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good mathematical skills, including the ability to reason and calculate times.
• Ability to spell, type, and read at an average speed.
• Accuracy and diplomacy and tact when dealing with others.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and keep the work area organized, clean, and free of hazards.
• Ensure parts conform to quality and drawing specifications, using measurement and testing instruments as needed.
• Apply knowledge of machining processes and equipment maintenance.
• Load and unload parts into machines carefully.
• Perform equipment runs and preventive maintenance as required.
• Remove machined parts by hand or mechanical means and place them in containers.
• Record work output in the appropriate records.
• Process parts through required cleaning operations.
• Operate related equipment efficiently.
• Communicate effectively and work well with others.
• Perform other related duties as directed.
