About The Position
Century Mold is hiring a Machine Operator to fulfill orders according to job specifications while supporting quality, process improvement, and productivity and efficiency standards. Machine Operators help ensure that manufacturing processes are consistently executed with a strong regard for quality. The role suits someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance, results-driven environment. The position works C shift, from 10:45 pm to 7:15 am.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Complete quality checks and paperwork associated with job tasks.
- Read and follow operator instructions and alerts.
- Record the number of containers made.
- Visually inspect products for defects and record the reasons for and amount of defects.
- Keep the work area neat and organized according to the 5S program.
- Communicate with incoming and outgoing operators.
- Spray molds as required.
- Provide relief on other machines as requested.
