About The Position
As part of Wegmans’ manufacturing team, the Machine Operator helps keep operations running smoothly by preparing, assembling, and packaging ingredients used to produce Wegmans Brand products. The role involves operating machinery and equipment in a fast-paced team environment while following food and human safety guidelines.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Customer service and teamwork experience.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Responsibilities
- Properly label containers and carts and complete electronic records.
- Perform quality checks and handle products properly to ensure they meet food safety standards.
- Practice safe work techniques.
- Operate machinery and equipment while following food and human safety guidelines.
- Follow guidelines and labor laws, complete work safely, and maintain a clean work environment.
