About The Position

kdc/one is hiring a full-time Machine Operator at its Columbus location to help produce beauty and personal care products. The role is suited to reliable, mechanically inclined team players who take pride in keeping equipment running smoothly and safely. The schedule is Monday through Friday, and the posting identifies the opportunity as 3rd shift. Starting pay is $18.00–$19.50 per hour. This role offers a potential path to Line Lead positions and further growth within the team.

Requirements

• Comfort using a computer for basic data entry and tracking.
• Mechanically inclined, with an interest in fixing, adjusting, or troubleshooting equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-first mindset.
• Ability to follow work instructions and GMP standards.
• Able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working around active machinery and wearing PPE.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Two or more years of manufacturing, production, or hands-on experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep equipment running smoothly through basic adjustments and troubleshooting.
• Perform clean-outs, changeovers, and rinses between production runs.
• Enter product details and complete basic records in the company system.
• Work with maintenance on preventative tasks and equipment care.
• Monitor batches for quality, correct labeling, and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support and train teammates, and step in for the Line Lead when needed.
