About The Position

This is a full-time Machine Operator position with immediate openings. The successful candidate will be trained to operate cold press heading machinery and will receive training to help them build skills and advance their career. The company is family-owned and has been in business for over 68 years. Salary will be commensurate with experience. This is a first-shift position.

Requirements

Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work an eight-hour shift.
Committed to quality, safety, and communication.
Team-oriented and self-directed.
Demonstrates a solid work ethic and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

Carry out production, inspection, and machine operation duties.
Set up cold press heading machinery and ensure materials are readily available.
Make mechanical adjustments to machines to achieve the proper part configuration.
Monitor production equipment.
Assist shop technicians and the materials clerk as necessary.
Perform other appropriate duties assigned by management.
Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
Use basic hand tools and measuring equipment, including calipers and micrometers.
Follow established safety rules and regulations.
