Requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to follow work instructions and quality procedures.
- Basic proficiency with inspection tools (e.g., gauges, micrometers).
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate header machines to produce components according to production specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and product output for quality and consistency.
- Conduct in-process inspections using gauges and measuring tools.
- Maintain and update production and inspection documentation accurately.
- Segregate and scrap defective parts or batches, ensuring quality standards.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment at the start of each shift.
- Prepare materials and tools for upcoming jobs during production runs.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in compliance with regulations.
- Promptly report any unsafe conditions or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Support continuous improvement by sharing process enhancement ideas and maintaining plant cleanliness.
- Maintain proper work environment by maintaining plant cleanliness and organized work areas utilizing 5S practices.
