About The Position

The Machine Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of machinery in a manufacturing or production environment. The operator monitors machine functions, maintains quality control, and helps meet production targets while following safety protocols. The role operates on the second shift, 4:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., Monday through Thursday. Starting pay is based on experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify production defects or deviations.
Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform physical tasks in a manufacturing environment.
Basic written and verbal communication skills for interacting with team members and supervisors.
Understanding of safety standards and ability to adhere to them.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in machine operation or a manufacturing environment; training will be provided.
Technical certifications or specialized training, such as CNC training.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor CNC DMG-Mori and Okuma milling and lathe machines, drill presses, grinders, and other machinery.
Adjust machine settings and parameters as needed to support optimal performance and output.
Inspect parts for defects or deviations from specifications using measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
Perform routine quality checks and report issues to the supervisor.
Ensure finished products meet company and customer quality standards.
Follow safety procedures, guidelines, and standards.
Wear required personal protective equipment, such as goggles, gloves, and hearing protection.
Follow company policies and industry regulations related to workplace safety and compliance.
