About The Position

The Machine Operator operates and monitors production equipment in Service Cell 1 to ensure consistent output and equipment reliability. The role includes routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance with health, safety, environmental, quality, and company policies. The operator also assists shop and yard teams as needed to support smooth operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of experience operating industrial machinery.
• Basic understanding of HSE and QC requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.

Nice To Haves

• Technical training.
• Forklift or other relevant equipment certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned machinery to meet daily production targets.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs.
• Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities.
• Document production data, maintenance activities, and safety observations.
• Follow HR, HSE, QC, and company policies and procedures.
• Assist shop and yard personnel with material handling and equipment setup.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
• Participate in shift handovers and communicate status updates.
• Support inventory control by tracking consumables and spare parts.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.
