About The Position

The Machine Operator operates and maintains production machines to support efficient production. The role involves monitoring machine operations, adjusting settings, conducting product quality checks, performing equipment preventive maintenance and cleaning, troubleshooting mechanical issues, operating manual and power pallet jacks, and maintaining production records. The position requires following safety protocols, wearing required PPE, and adhering to OSHA regulations and company standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of machine operations.
• Some experience performing quality checks.
• Ability to follow standard work and read recipe sheets.
• Ability to read a scale and machine instrumentation.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and communicate effectively in small groups.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and agree to random drug screenings during employment.
