Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Mechanical aptitude (automotive experience helpful)
  • Accepts change and continuous improvement as a way of life
  • 2+ years’ experience operating machines

Responsibilities

  • Assures achievement of the production schedule.
  • Perform machine change overs
  • Produce quality parts by following in process checks and production plans
  • Run parts to customer specifications.
  • Ensures improvements are sustained in work area.
  • Actively supports and complies with all environmental, health, and safety practices and regulations.
  • Coordinate wire supply and/or materials to work centers as needed.
  • Supports all 6S work initiatives
  • Provide assistance in quality improvements.
  • Perform all physical movements of materials and the entry of computer transactions into the manufacturing system as needed.
  • Demonstrates motivation to achieve all Production, Quality, and Safety Targets.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
  • Must complete all applicable training plans.
