This position has a starting base rate pay of $19.90 per hour with an additional $1.10 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift position placement.

Requirements

  • Ability to move from one area of production to another.
  • Must be willing and able to lift and carry 60 pounds.
  • Must be willing and able to visually inspect products.
  • The Team Member will be required to stand, stoop, bend, climb ladders, change work levels, twist and squat, climb stairs, reach, push, pull and move about the facility.
  • Must be willing and able to read simple explicit instructions and do the required paperwork.
  • The Team Member will work in extremely cold temperatures.
  • The Team Member must wear necessary safety equipment, etc.
  • The Team Member must have a valid driver’s license.
  • 6 months of operator experience, with the same employer on various types of powered industrial vehicles or material handling equipment.
  • Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • CDL preferred but must be willing to obtain one within 6 months, if not a current holder.

Responsibilities

  • Learn product codes and fill customer orders.
  • Operate a forklift and hand jacks to transport product from raw material trailers into meat receiving coolers and from freezer to trailers to be shipped.
  • Also operate a high lift in the freezer to move product as needed.
  • Maintain proper paperwork for raw meat receiving and warehouse freezer.
  • Key in product codes for finished product into scanners.
  • Unload all inbound dry goods and transport goods to dry storage inventory.
  • Perform monthly inventories in dry storage and cycle counts in warehouse freezer.
  • Other duties as assigned.
