About The Position

Under the direction of the Supervisor of Fabrication Manufacturing Operations, operates any of the following equipment: fin press, expander press, and hairpin tubing press or to perform leak test, rework, or a variety of assembly operations. Sets up and operates automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities and makes minor adjustments and repairs to equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts which requires the use of protective gear to ensure safety.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High School Diploma and/or GED equivalent required.
5+ years of work experience with similar machinery in industrial setting required.
General sheet metal knowledge
Capable of lifting 50 lbs
Standing for long periods on concrete
Quality Assurance

Must be able to speak and read English

Nice To Haves

2-year Technical Degree or Vo-Tech certification highly preferred.
Experience in a mixed-model manufacturing environment, using lean principles is preferred.
