About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is hiring a Machine Operator for its second-shift team at the South Milwaukee, Wisconsin facility. The hourly rate is $22.50, plus a $2.50-per-hour shift premium. The scheduled shift is 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.; overtime may extend beyond those hours and may be mandatory at times. The operator works in manual machining work centers, operating multiple machines and maintaining production, inspection, and quality standards. The role also includes using measuring instruments, performing housekeeping and autonomous maintenance tasks, and completing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
At least six months of previous manufacturing, military, or related experience.
Ability to walk and stand for an eight-hour shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to lift 48 pounds and push or pull 48 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must currently reside within 50 miles of the work location; active-duty military service member candidates are exempt from this geographical limitation.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience operating manual drill-and-pin, deburring, or saw machines.

Responsibilities

Maintain tolerances, inspection requirements, and production standards.
